Advanced Cadillac Flow (NEW – Approved for Merrithew™ CECs)

Description

This workshop includes a full body, advanced program using the Cadillac. Learn how to use the Roll Down Bar, Leg Springs, Arm Springs, the Push-Thru Bar, Trapeze and the Fuzzy Straps to create a fluid, fun and challenging advanced workout. You’ll learn to program exercises from one end of the Cadillac to the other in a fluid and organized manner, creating the perfect challenge for any enthusiastic client.

Objectives

  1. To experience a program design that moves from one end of the cadillac to the other in a fluid, organized manner, working every muscle group.
  2. Combine some traditional Pilates repertoire with some unique exercises to add variety and fun to any workout.
  3. Teach proper form and execution of the exercises while discussing the unique qualities of performing them on the Cadillac instead of more traditional places.

Goals

  1. To give the participant more exercise options to use on the cadillac and to help improve programming techniques.
  2. To help the participant understand the anatomy and biomechanics and proper form and execution of the exercises.
  3. To cover simple and effective ways to regress the exercises, as well as ways to challenge clients safely with progressions of the exercises.
