Best described as an extremely intense 8-week fitness program, in JGX8 participants see maximum results over a short, but concentrated period of time. Participants with a long history of taking their health and fitness seriously and those who’ve made the conscious decision to make their health, fitness and well-being a top priority stand to gain the maximum benefits offered by the JGX programs.

John Garey Fitness & Pilates is looking for a few dedicated individuals to complete their roster of contenders for our JGX8 program starting TBA. Everyone’s welcome to join and you’ll have at least one thing in common with everyone else; we all consider our health and welfare to be top priorities and staying physically and mentally fit with the proper workout programs goes a long way toward accomplishing that goal.

JGX8 is an eight-week fitness challenge that will give you all the tools and support you need to change your fitness level and your body. Teams are limited to 8 participants so you get lots of individual attention from your coach.  You stay with the same coaches throughout the program, so that they can offer you support and stay with you on your journey: encouraging, strategizing, and motivating you to be your best. JGX8 coaches make your individual results their #1 priority. Here’s how JGX8 works…

Every progressive workout is specially designed to help you reach your ultimate fitness goals in the following areas:
Strength Training, Cardio Training, and High Intensity Interval Training.

Program Highlights:

  • Orientation and goal setting meeting and measurements prior to the start of the program: Please sign up for a spot with the Front Desk.  
  • Body measurements and body composition tracking at the beginning, middle and end of the program
  • Workouts are held in our Small Group / Personal Training Room with state-of-the-art equipment, including Monkey Bars, Indorow, Spinner Blade Ion, Fitness Trampoline, All New Free-weights, Tubing, TRX, RiP Trainer, Jungle Gym, and more.
  • Participants will use fitness apps to record their workouts and meals during the program.  Studies show that those who record their workouts and food intake are more successful in achieving their goals.
  • JGX8 Team and Individual Champion Competition.

One team and two individuals (male and female) who’ve earned the most points at the end of the competition will be named JGX8 Champions! 
This program also features fun and challenging team and individual competitions. We know that even if you’re not competitive, being on a team and having that extra accountability helps participants achieve their goals.  JGX8 Champions are determined by points earned during the program and the final JGX8 Competition! Points are earned by attendance to classes, extra points for extra classes, changes in body composition, attending special workshops, and by participating in the JGX8 Competition.  Events at the JGX8 Competition include: Timed Obstacle Course, Cycling Measurement, Standing Long Jump, Timed Plank Hold, and Flexed Arm Hang, and Indo-Row Challenge. Champions are named at our JGX8 Champions Party at the end of the program.
