STOTT PILATES® Prenatal Pilates on the Split-Pedal Stability Chair

Prenatal clients require special attention and programming considerations. This innovative workshop on the Split-Pedal Stability Chair, developed by the Merrithew team, provides trainers with specially designed exercises and modifications using this highly versatile tool. Appropriate STOTT PILATES® exercise adaptations are explored in sitting, standing, side-lying and other beneficial positions. The latest medical information and ACOG guidelines as well as anatomical and physiological changes, risk factors and movement considerations are kept front of mind. Exercise choices are concentrated on second trimester concerns, although considerations for those in first and third trimesters are also addressed.
